I began my early childhood work as a family child care home provider from 1984 -1986. I joined the Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) program 1992 and worked in that program for 12 years. In 2004, the referral program was relocated under the Early Childhood Council. I became the Operations Coordinator and was later promoted to Assistant Director. I currently supervise the Referral Program Coordinator and the Best Start for Babies parent education Program Coordinator. I manage the agency’s data systems and oversee reporting and evaluation activities.
I have a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management from Regis University. When not at work I enjoy more creative pursuits, including woodturning, smocking and photography. I especially enjoy exploring places with my husband to take landscape photos and flower and insect close ups. I have two grown daughters, one who lives in Greeley and one who is a lawyer living in San Francisco.
