I am committed to international reproductive health and development issues. In my current position as Director of Communications at EngenderHealth, an international nonprofit reproductive health organization, I want to help tell the world stories about our impact and progress that is happening in 40 countries where we work. I believe in the power of stories to inspire and move people to act!
These back-to-back three-day workshops were a collaboration between the Center for Digital Storytelling and the Hunter College School of Social Work. They brought together current and former foster youth with case workers to create digital stories about the foster care system. Participants explored what helped them when they were in the system, and what moves and challenges them in their work. You can watch the stories created by Sasha, Kim, and Griffin.
