Biography:

I'm a community artist, teacher, and founder of Artmakers Trust, an independent not for profit learning centre focussed on community and personal development through participation in the arts. I established Artmakers in 1985, so that people would have a physical, mental and emotional space in their lives in which to create, be encouraged and supported by others to work on collaborative projects, for the benefit of their own well-being and that of their community. We've created artworks, supported events, run workshops and developed a range of creative ways to involve people in collaborative ventures. Our website will give some insights into the many projects we have facilitated. I love stories, they are the most powerful way of telling what is on top, underneath, behind and in front of things. Stories are lived. Digital Storytelling is a portal for sharing lives.
