why did I make this digital story - Identity

I made recently a brief reflexion on my identity and the pursuit of the dream of becoming a full time digital storyteller in my home country. It has also beeing used as a showcase of what we can with CDS's methodology. The dream is going to be a reality soon. 'Keep dreaming, and one day you wake up with the sound of your dream being made by other's' (not my words, but don't rememember who said them). I am working on making this dream real, and I have already a small group of friends and committed highly experienced professionals also dreaming with me here in Portugal. Greatings to all you storytellers out there, José

Thank you for sharing your story

I too am excited to be helping people tell their stories in their own voices and in their own way. Identity has been an important theme of late, in stories, discussions and meetings I've been involved in. It was interesting how you reflected on all the name badges and press id cards to illustrate your thinking about identity. I love the dreaming quote in your comment and know we will hear the sound.

thank's for being a part of a dream come true

Thank's Kathryn for sharing your comment.

I turn on the TV this morning and hear about that today will be a decisive day for the US and the rest of the world on account of the financial plan to overcome the crisis.

Until we understand that we are the one's in charge of making everyday decisive for others and even more ourselves, the world won't have a chance. Good thing to have storytellers out there to assist and facilitate dialogue, learning and understanding, crisis or not crisis.

I also thank you for beeing a part of making my dream turn into reality. Let's keep on dreaming together and make this world a better place, it sounds so 60's but it is truer than ever.
