Griffin's Story

Storyteller: Griffin

In this story, Griffin shares his sense of feeling alone in the world, after being separated from his family and going into care. He describes how he went through a period of not feeling connected to or understood by anyone, and how he “woke up” after losing important people in his life. Griffin now writes for a magazine for current/former foster youth. This story was created in a Center for Digital Storytelling workshop with current and former foster youth as well as adult case workers, sponsored by the Hunter College School of Social Work.
