If you want to be able to use workshop particpants' stories as examples in the future, you need to have them sign a release form.
This is a release form we use at the Center for Digital Storytelling in our open workshops. It gives participants the option of sharing their story with us for teaching purposes, conferences, and promotional materials, as well as on our website. We print this form on our letterhead and pass it out at the end of the three-day workshop.
This form is a Word doc so you can edit it to fit your organization's needs.
