I taught at the EARTH University for four months and taught my first digital storytelling workshop. One reason I went was to experience a different cultural environment than my own. This story tells a little bit about what I went through. I did this story over the course of two days in a little duplex I was staying in after my family had returned to the states. Being alone and having a workspace like this--I had a day off from teaching and then there was a national holiday--a little different approach. I recorded the script and then went to work in Premiere. As I put the story together, I re-recorded on two separate occasions parts of the script when I had a clearer ear for how my story sounded and how I wanted it to sound. I really liked that liberty.
