Yaritza is her story about making the best of a second chance.
Six youth from the Kino Neighborhoods of Las Vistas, Western Hills, Pueblo Gardens and South Park were chosen to participate in a basic digital storytelling workshop. This is one of the stories. They share their voice to inspire a greater sense of community, understanding and awareness through a glimpse of their struggles and passions.

I know peer pressure is not
I know peer pressure is not always easy, and that sometimes going along is easier than being put on the spot. However, always remember that no matter what comes along, you are your own person. There's nothing wrong with not being in the crowd, make your own crowd and enjoy being a kid :)\
I think that sometimes it is hard to see a love one deal with situations like you did with your father, but don't forget that doing it same doesnt justifiy what he did.i can somewhat relate to you, my father used to be an alcholic too. However, he changed his ways when he met the lord. I hope that when ever you feel like no one is there to guide you, you turn to the lord as well. For he will always be there when the rest of the world walks out.
