I'm glad you decided to tell your stories

Great title. I love my father's stories, even though many I've heard over and over. These stories are a link of the past to the future. The fact that he wants to tell them to me, to us, is important to me. I am glad you shared your story and have found stories to pass on to your son. How wonderful to have a son who wants to listen.

help getting unstuck

Hi,
Watching and listening to your story helped me to figure out another way to get at stories of my parents that have me a little stuck - talk to some of their friends. So simple, yet I had not thought about it till you shared it in your story...so, thank you.
I appreciate the help.
Cheers,
T

Kathryn, thanks for your comments. My son Chris loves hearing my stories and telling his stories. I wish I had been as persistent with my father as he is with me.

 Take care,

Re: help getting unstuck

Therese, when I started talking to the gentleman from Engine 11 I didn't really understand what I was unconsciously searching for. I also didn't think that posting my story woud help anyone else. Thanks for commenting and good luck in getting at your parents stories.
