Sasha writes a letter to her younger brother, telling him how difficult it was for her to be separated from him when they were placed in foster care. She talks about the problems she had in school, about how much she missed her brother, and about the case worker whose presence helped her stay on track. This story was created in a Center for Digital Storytelling workshop with current and former foster youth as well as adult case workers, sponsored by the Hunter College School of Social Work.
