Storyteller: Phip Ross

I was inspired by students' hopeful spirits as I worked with them in Costa Rica. I kept hearing "I want ...." and what followed were voices that wanted to help their communities and protect the environment. This is a collage of voices and images.

I taught at the EARTH University for four months and taught my first digital storytelling workshop. One reason I went was to experience a different cultural environment than my own. This story tells a little bit about what I went through. I did this story over the course of two days in a little duplex I was staying in after my family had returned to the states. Being alone and having a workspace like this--I had a day off from teaching and then there was a national holiday--a little different approach. I recorded the script and then went to work in Premiere.
