California Dreaming

Watch this video!
Storyteller: Naomi Jimenez

Naomi tells the story of how she wanted to come to California, but wasn't sure how or if she could really do it. She struggles with wanting to follow her own dreams while still making her family proud, and also with the difficulty of finding a meaninful way to put her technology skills to good use.

This story was created in a CDS three day workshop, where Naomi and her supervisor at OTX West joined other AmeriCorps CTC VISTA volunteers to learn more about digital storytelling.
