Anica does a digital story based on a memory bowl exercise. She talks about some of her favorite things and the memories associated with them. This project was created at the Girls Get Connected Conference 2006 in Boston, with students from the Horace Mann School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Shirley shares her experience and treatment as a deaf woman after being sexually assaulted by friends that she trusted. This story was created in a CDS workshop organized by the Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa.

John tells his story of being a deaf, gay man in South Africa, and how he found out he was HIV positive. He uses sign language to tell his story. John describes the difficulties of communicating with a doctor, and the discrimination he's faced within the deaf community as an HIV positive gay man.
