When she finds out that she is HIV positive, Kerwele isn't sure what to do. It's difficult to get the information she needs, and doctors tell her she may only have a few years to live. After struggling alone with her feelings of guilt and sadness she meets up with a group of HIV positive people who work together to find solutions to their problems. Kerwele finds hope again, and starts work as an HIV/AIDS counselor and women's health advocate.
