This story shows a brief impression I felt in a moment of starting development of my life. I was leaving my home to travel to Costa Rica, where another family was waiting for me. Me and a lot of great people had worked hard to make this possible. Finally I arrived and things were not so happy at the beginning because of cultural shock but by the time is life experience.

Devon and Ramón express how they got a second chance at their education through the Facilities Maintenance Program offered through the Boston Private Industry Council. This story was produced in a workshop offered to grantees of Commonwealth Corporation's B.E.S.T. initiative for older youth.
